Dr. Liu's work sits at the crossroads of AI and drug discovery, spanning geometric and topological deep learning, agentic AI, reinforcement learning, small molecules targeting proteins and RNA, genomics analysis, and epigenetics. Prior to A*STAR, he served as a Computational Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, developing geometric deep learning models for genomics. He earned his PhD from Vanderbilt University, where his research centered on AI-driven approaches to computer-aided drug discovery.
