Filipp Nikitin is a Research Scientist at NVIDIA working on AI methods for chemistry, molecular discovery, and scientific reasoning. He recently completed his PhD at Carnegie Mellon University, where his research focused on machine learning and generative modeling for molecular structure and chemistry. He is one of the developers of LoQI, a stereochemistry-aware generative model for scalable low-energy molecular conformer generation. LoQI combines large-scale molecular geometry data with generative modeling to efficiently explore conformational space while approaching quantum-mechanical accuracy. His broader research interests include generative models, molecular representation learning, computational chemistry, and practical AI methods for drug and materials discovery.
