What's New on Vecura | October 19-23, 2026
Explore Vecura’s October 19–23 updates: contextual Agent help, result analysis, 26 compound libraries, CREST, and improved DNAchisel setup.

Agent help closer to your work, access to 26 compound libraries in workflows, and new conformer generation capabilities with CREST.
Welcome to What’s New on Vecura, our regular recap of recent platform improvements and scientific capabilities.
This week, Vecura makes it easier to ask for help while configuring tools, building workflows, and reviewing results. Researchers can also access 26 external compound libraries within workflows, generate conformer ensembles with CREST, and configure DNAchisel runs with clearer input guidance.
Agent
Get help in the context of your work
Vecura Agent is now easier to access across the platform, with suggested questions tailored to the page you are viewing.
The Agent panel opens automatically when a run finishes or encounters an error, and when you are in the workflow editor. A context chip identifies which page your question relates to, making the connection between your work and the conversation more visible.
Guidance boxes also appear on your first visit to the Tools, tool input, and Workflows pages, helping you get started with Agent assistance.
Ask the Agent to analyse completed results
Completed runs now include an Analyze this result button.
Selecting it lets you ask Vecura Agent to analyse the run’s outputs directly from the results view, creating a more direct transition from computation to discussion and interpretation.
Find runs across your current project
Type @ in Agent chat to find any run in your current project and attach it to your question.
The Databases menu has also been renamed Add sources, and its icon has changed to @. When you switch tabs, your chat scroll position is preserved so you can return to the same point in the conversation.
Workflows
Access 26 external compound libraries
Compound Libraries is now available within workflows, providing access to 26 external compound libraries.
Researchers can incorporate these sources into their computational workflows, expanding the compound resources available within Vecura.
Models and Tools
Generate conformer ensembles with CREST
CREST is now available on Vecura for generating conformer ensembles, collections of different three-dimensional conformations of a molecule.
The integration includes input checks, charge and spin validation for refinement modes, and checks on individual structures within an ensemble. These checks help identify incompatible inputs before a run begins.
Configure DNA Chisel with clearer input guidance
DNA Chisel now includes a species picker for codon usage, making it easier to specify the host organism whose codon usage should guide sequence optimization.
Additional input checks run before submission, helping researchers identify configuration issues before starting computation.
From setup to result analysis
This week’s updates bring Agent assistance closer to everyday research tasks while expanding the resources and tools available for computational work.
